Add card payment to a public toilet. The customer pays with a card or mobile wallet when the WC is free. After payment, the door unlocks so they can go in. Occupied and vacant signs can be connected so the status is visible from outside.

For campsites, marinas, municipalities, and facility owners. Paylando supplies the payment terminal, Paylando Edge, and the backend. A local locksmith fits the lock, sensors, and signs. We do not sell lock hardware.

How it works

1. The customer taps a card or phone. Payment is accepted only if the WC is free.
2. Paylando Edge signals the lock so the door can be opened.
3. Inside, they lock the door. The occupied sign comes on (usually red) and further payments are blocked.
4. When they unlock and leave, the vacant sign comes on (usually green) and the next customer can pay.

The WC is free when it is not locked from the inside. A door sensor is optional. If one is fitted, the door must also be closed before payment is allowed.

Interface

The site supplies 12–24 V.

Inputs from the door:
